Direct Debit Authority now active.

For all NEW cattle purchases (not existing cattle), there will be an extra step in the purchase system authorising a Direct Debit of backgrounding costs (and if required, feedlotting costs) out of your nominated account at each weighing. The amount will be invoiced at weighing and your account debited. If the account allocated cannot be debited an interest charge will apply until such time as the invoice is settled. This is a truer representative of how the industry works and will enable BSM to keep backgrounding costs stable at the same rate we have had since inception. Purchase invoices will no longer show buying fees or administration charges however the sale commission (for new cattle only) will now be 3%.
